* Free Advice Needed about This Site

Before I continue to fill in the events of the past two weeks and post more photos and stories about my adventures collecting $170 or the $300 for the dairy cow, I need feedback. I know there's more to do on the blog design, but I'm hoping it's good enough to get started.

So, please tell me what you think:

1. Does the blog make sense?

2. Are the entries too wordy?

3. Should the pictures be bigger?

4. Does the widget for donating money work ( ;-) please try it and see)

5. What's missing?

6. What should I do more or less of?

Or if you don't want to comment, vote in the poll:

I love your site! I like websites that are clean and uncluttered. Yours meets my little personal standard perfectly. I think your posts are good too. Everyone has a story to tell and everyone's stories are interesting to someone. That's why blogging has become such a phenomenon, I think. You write well and have and interesting story. And you're doing a very, very good thing. What more is there? :)

When I go to the bottom of the page and read back up to the top it makes perfect sense what you are doing. However, as time goes by and more posts separate the explanation of the genesis from the current posts I think it will become less obvious what's going on. I'm not sure just how/where, but a "25 word" explanation of the purpose that stays near the top of the page might be helpful.

Follow up to my last comment. Has the giving widget been taken off? It's not appearing for me under the cow drawing like it was before today.

Thanks James.

Thanks for the feedback.

Gord ...
Good idea .. I think I need to add that maybe on the side or top tagline area.

The widget should still be there .. wonder if the widget site went down for a bit? Can you see it now?

Thanks for the feedback.
Darlene
