The Higher Education Resources and Opportunities (HERO) database is a
24-hour, on-line service that provides free access to valuable
information from colleges and universities on scholarships, grants,
fellowships, conferences, faculty and student development, research
opportunities, partnership initiatives and other opportunities for
minorities and women. The service matches college and university
opportunities with researchers, faculty, students and institutions.
Information for each participating school is updated on either a monthly
or quarterly basis.

All U.S. colleges and universities are invited to participate in HERO to
announce programs, special services, financial assistance and other
opportunities for minorities and women. Call 301/975-0103 (voice) for
more information.
